Server down again this morning, no big deal really.
Game G hasn't had an extern for at least 3 nights now. We are now out of the 'truce' period, and so things should really be heating up. Since ports aren't developing, the tempo of the game has been drastically altered...

Could we please have a nightly extern?

Oh, is that what it is? I thought I was doing something wrong, when my starports weren't advancing.

p.s. I have to leave Game G... only have time for one game these days, and the more limited turns / more tweaked Pirates game is where I'm going to remain active.

 Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me...

I'll call Boone and let him know.

Game G was crashing the server when extern would run on that game. It appears to have been the mail file (which was deleted). Players may have lost mail.

:cylon: EXTERN WAS MANUALLY RUN THREE TIMES :cylon:

Thank you Phloydius for carry out the fix, i think that's the reason why server was down few times in last few days. :salute:

Now things are going on smoothly. :-)

I just made a phone call, Boone fixed the problem. Credit to him. Let me know if other problems (or this one again) crop back up...

Thanks to both admins, Boone & Phloydius for the earlier problem fix. :)

But now the server is down again. I think there must be something that is always causing server down recently. This few days, server is down after daily restart at 4:00am game time. I think admins maybe need to use some time to do a more thorough check when free to find out the cause & fix the problem. Thank you.

Yeah, like pilot said, server's down right now. I know it's hard to keep those things up and working. Hopefully a solution will present itself, as Qui Gon Jin said (probably misspelling his name).
